A 10 YEAR OLD WHISKY

The Titus Edition is an August 17th whisky that has been aged for 10 years in old casks containing Port and Cognac.
It presents an atypical and smoky taste. It is the fourth whisky of the August 17th range after the 3 year old, 5 year old and 7 year old.

Description: an atypical whisky with a smoky taste and notes of caramel, spices and red fruits that leads us to the Port.

No cold filtration, a slight deposit may appear (it disappears when the bottle is shaken).

A SINGLE CASK STRENGHT

An anniversary edition, the August 17th whisky celebrates its 10th anniversary! It's been 10 years since the whisky was put in casks.
Here, the August 17th whisky is at full strength, that is to say 62° at the end of the cask, which is called a "Single Cask Strenght".

A limited edition of 2×550 bottles. The bottles are numbered and labeled by hand.

ACCOMPANIMENTS & ADVICE

August 17th is eaten at the end of a good meal. It is recommended not to add ice cubes as the cold affects the volatility of the aromas and the perception of taste in the mouth. The ideal temperature for tasting it is room temperature (around 21°C). It goes wonderfully well with a piece of dark chocolate or a good cigar. Enjoy!

HOW TO DRINK A TASTING WHISKY

The choice of the glass is very important because it must emphasize the aromatic pallet of the whisky. We recommend a 'tulip-shaped' glass which allows a better restitution of the aromas by concentrating them. In the August 17th range, we offer a glass of this type. You have to take the time to savour the complex aroma, the "nose" of a good whisky. It is an extremely rewarding experience that involves 4 of our 5 senses: sight, smell, taste and touch. Pour a measure of whisky into your glass, observe its colour, its reflections. Take the glass by the base, hold your nose above it and breathe in gently. You can also warm it up a little by putting your hands around the glass.

All you have to do is taste it and appreciate its aroma, richness and complexity.
